This is ‘Louis’, a much-loved pet sheep who belongs to the family of a house I photographed. Anyone from the country will understand how much bottle-raised sheep become part of the family! And many sheep themselves begin to think they’re much like dogs. I’ve never met a gentler, rounder and more majestic sheep than Louis, and loved the sight of him here on this hill.
