ABOUT ME

I’m a multi-creative published photographer, editorial writer and creative freelancer, with a focus on houses, brands and beautiful places around the world.

I grew up on a farm so I’m a country girl at heart; this genuineness, warmth and hard working ethic anchors much of my work with clients, no matter where I am in the world. After five years in a couple of cities, in 2019 I finished my Bachelor of Arts (Professional and Creative Writing) degree and returned to rural Victoria. This has been my home base ever since.

After exploring roles in journalism, marketing, and social media, I knew the 9-5 world just wasn’t my bag. I loved the creative work, but I wanted to do it on my terms, and create content that resonated with me. I began freelancing as a way to keep doing everything I loved, with the scope to work with a range of professionals and brands where I could make an impact.

Whether it was navigating my Mum’s black and white Minolta, clicking away on my Nikon point-and-shoot, and later capturing gold with an iPhone, I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. In 2020, I bought my first DSLR second-hand for $300, and that investment has seen a return of over $100,000+. Photography found me as a career: it blended my desire to capture beautiful moments, and make them last more powerfully than a memory.

My approach is both diligent and heartfelt in my writing and photography, as I create content that speaks for itself.

Whether it’s interstate or overseas, we’re always on the road, seekers of beautiful places and keepers of memories.

I’m based in the Western District of Victoria, and travel frequently alongside my partner in life and business, Haavard. We travel interstate and internationally for work several times a year, specialising in Airbnb photography, brand visuals, and destination weddings and elopements.

This year, we have launched an online academy for creatives, The Creative’s Toolkit, with a mission to increase successful creative careers by equipping people with profitable skillsets. We also offer lots of free resources via the blog, our YouTube channel, and the Courageous Creatives Podcast.

I am always up for coffee and a chat (on Zoom too, if you’re not local!). If you’re interested in one of my services, or just want to connect – drop a line via my contact page.

Thank you for stopping by, and I look forward to working with you!
